Job summary

Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Vancouver, WA is seeking a detail-oriented medical transcriptionist to transcribe specialty communications from physician dictations and patient charts.

The role is 3/4 time (over 30 hours per week) with daytime hours, requiring good listening, accuracy, and the ability to work independently. Salary is hourly and the office environment is supportive.

Qualifications

• Experience with general office tasks and phone etiquette.
• Proficient keyboarding and data entry.

Job Location: Vancouver PCLI - Vancouver, WA 98662, Salary Range: $24.39 - $25.95 Hourly

Objective

With a positive and cheerful attitude, transcribe specialty communication from all members of the medical staff from recorded dictation and patient charts.

Reports To

Site Manager

Status

3/4 time (30+ hours per week)

Schedule

Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. These are our normal office hours. However, work hours for this position fluctuate based on our doctors’ availability and the patient schedule.
