Job summary

New Direction Trust Company (NDTCO) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Transactions department in Louisville, CO. You will drive daily performance, prioritize work, coach staff, and ensure accurate, compliant processing of client transactions across real estate, private equity, and other asset classes.

The role reports to the Managing Director, Client Experience and HR, and offers a hybrid work environment with a focus on client experience, risk management, and process

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial services or trusted operations
• 2+ years of direct people-management or supervisory experience
• Experience leading a high-volume, deadline-driven operational team
• Strong understanding of workflow management, service levels, quality controls, and performance metrics
• Experience coaching employees, providing feedback, managing performance, and building accountability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional with clients, peers, and leaders
• Ability to manage competing priorities, respond calmly to escalations, and make timely decisions
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead through change

Responsibilities

• Lead the Transactions team with day-to-day leadership and coaching.
• Balance workloads based on volume, complexity, and priorities.
• Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings with development plans.
• Oversee timely, accurate processing of transactions across asset types.
• Review and approve transactions within authority; ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain staffing, coverage, and backup plans for peak periods.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Monitor quality, risk, and regulatory compliance efforts.
