Job summary

New Direction Trust Company (NDTCO) is seeking a Transaction Specialist in Louisville, CO to join the Transactions team. You will review, interpret, and process complex investment transactions within client retirement accounts, working directly with clients to ensure accurate funding, settlement, and IRS-compliant handling.

The role emphasizes detailed accuracy, proactive communication, and a client-focused approach, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of relevant financial services, banking, trust, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and resolve investment transactions accurately.
• Analyze investment documents for completeness and compliance.
• Process transactions involving alternative assets (private equity, private debt, real estate).
• Communicate proactively with clients on requirements and status.
• Provide responsive, professional client service.
• Apply IRS requirements and internal guidelines throughout the process.
• Identify irregularities and mitigate operational risk.
• Coordinate transaction funding and settlement.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to support client outcomes.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance client experience.
• Support additional projects as assigned.
