Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking an experienced Manager of Transactional Paraprofessional Support to lead paraprofessional operations in our Business and Transactions, Finance, and Real Estate teams. The role is hybrid and can be based in several offices, including Seattle.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in paraprofessional services, prior supervision of paralegals, and strong budgeting and project management skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in paraprofessional services.
• Prior experience supervising paralegals in a law firm environment required; supervising transactional paraprofessionals preferred.
• Some travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs, manage paraprofessionals' performance, and assist with budgeting and resource planning.
• Manage workflow to optimize efficiency and quality of work.
• Develop training plans and cross-train paraprofessionals.
• Assist in establishing and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Manage large-scale projects.
