Job summary

Epiq Systems, Inc is seeking an experienced Transactional Paralegal to support a leading law firm client on a temporary basis in New York City. You will assist attorneys with corporate and transactional matters, with a preference for real estate exposure, and you will work in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient with document management, due diligence, and closing activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transactional paralegal experience in law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience supporting corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, or other commercial matters.
• Real estate transaction experience preferred.
• Strong document management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of transactional matters
• Prepare, review, organize, and maintain transaction-related documentation
• Assist with due diligence, document management, and closing activities
• Coordinate signature collection and execution of legal documents
• Track transaction milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
• Manage electronic and physical deal files
• Conduct legal, corporate, and property-related research as needed
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Provide administrative and project support for multiple ongoing matters
