Job summary

iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President or Vice President for Transactional Operations to lead strategic initiatives across the transaction lifecycle. You will collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Data and external partners to design scalable, data-driven operating models with strong controls and governance.

You will drive automation, KPI dashboards, and executive-ready roadmaps while ensuring alignment with private funds and alternative investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, operations or related field is required.
• 6+ years in financial services, operations, consulting, product strategy or transformation.
• Experience with automation, data, and operating-model redesign.
• Ability to develop operating models, governance, controls, and metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Transactional Operations Strategic Transformation - Assistant Vice President / Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President or Vice President to join the Transactional Operations team helping to lead strategic initiatives across the transaction lifecycle. This role will partner across Operations, Product, Technology, Data and Analytics, and external partners to design operational strategies, scalable processes, strengthen operational controls, improve visibility, and drive automation. This individual will help transform transaction operations into a standardized, data-driven, and exception-based operating model that supports continued growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic transformation initiatives across Transactional Operations, managing complex programs from business case development through implementation, adoption, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Partner with Product, Technology, and Data teams to align roadmap priorities and platform capabilities to support both internal teams and external clients.
• Prepare executive-level recommendations, project updates, and strategic roadmaps.
• Drive major industry partnership initiatives that enable straight through processing and workflow standardization across the Alternative Investments industry.
• Design and implement scalable operating models, controls, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
• Drive operational automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
• Represent as the operational subject matter expert on transaction lifecycle initiatives spanning subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, direct funds, ticker-traded products and any related new initiatives.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting to improve operational transparency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, operations, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in financial services, operations, consulting, product strategy, or transformation roles
• Strong understanding of alternative investment operations and transaction lifecycle workflows
• Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes through automation, technology, data, and operational redesign
• Experience developing operating models, governance frameworks, controls, and performance metrics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Able to influence across business, product, technology, and operations teams
• Knowledge of private funds, registered funds, interval funds and alternative investment platforms is preferred

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $175,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
