Job summary

Riveron is seeking a transaction advisory professional in Houston with 4+ years of deal experience to analyze quality of earnings, working capital and cash flows. You will leverage GAAP knowledge to support buy- and sell-side engagements and interact with target company management.

You will draft client deliverables, support due diligence, and coach junior staff while traveling to client sites as needed. This role offers full-time employment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of related transaction experience including EBITDA, net working capital, and cash flows.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Use financial acumen and GAAP knowledge to assist clients on financial, operational, and tax issues in M&A.
• Conduct and review research and analysis of financial and accounting issues in business transactions.
• Assist in preparing quality of earnings and net working capital analyses for buy- and sell-side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews of target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting


• Minimum 4 years of relevant transaction experience, including experience analyzing a target company’s quality of earnings (EBITDA), net working capital, and cash flows


• Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.


• You have a passion for developing and maintaining client relationships

• Conduct and review research and analysis of a wide range of financial and accounting issues related to business transactions


• Assist in the preparation of quality of earnings and net working capital analyses for buy‑ and sell‑side deals


• Participate in executive management interviews of target companies


• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client‑facing deliverables


• Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and ensure deadlines are met


• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members
