Job summary

Stout in New York is seeking an Intern in Transaction Opinions to support fairness and solvency opinions and other valuation assignments within M&A and restructuring contexts. You will gain hands-on experience, work with senior professionals, and build robust financial models from day one.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS degree (required).
• Preferred coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; 3.5+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research to identify and support assumptions and conclusions.
• Analyze and interpret complex financial statements to identify risks and value drivers for the valuation opinion.
• Prepare due diligence questions and validate documentation for financial, operational, and market assumptions.
