Steel Dynamics, Inc. in Texas Dayton seeks a supervisor for the Transactions team to oversee invoicing, scrap payables, and truck direct processing, while supporting internal and external customers. The role partners with the Division Manager and Division Controller to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to trace transactions through production and accounting systems and identify errors.
• Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities and supervision experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Customer service and team-oriented approach to completing tasks and supporting internal and external customers.
• Must be a team player who is dedicated to the organization.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transactions personnel related to invoicing, scrap payables, and truck direct processing.
• Monitor and assist with retail activities.
• Prepare reports and evaluate results.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of daily transaction activities.
• Manage customer relationships and requests.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.
• All other duties as required.
