Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Transaction Analyst in Houston for a six-month contract. The role involves high-performance work in a fast-paced environment, supporting enrollment and transaction processing to influence business outcomes.

You will gather and analyze data, manage EDI registrations, resolve issues, and maintain SLAs across multiple systems. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience with Utility Market Transactions (ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, ISO-NE),

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years work experience in processing Utility Market Transactions in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, or ISO-NE.
• Familiarity with EDI transactions and processes.
• Experience with enrollment, drop, and change rejections.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with urgency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Gather/Organize/Analyze transaction data using CRM and reporting systems.
• Manage registration of customer accounts through EDI enrollment transactions.
• Manage end of term requirements for customer accounts via EDI drop transactions.
• Resolve transaction issues using tools like SharePoint, Oracle, Excel, Access, PowerBI, Teams, etc., and push to closure.
• Reconcile customer status and account information across systems.
• Handle urgent after-hours requests related to PMVI's and RNP's.
• Track issues in CRM and external systems per market requirements; liaise with internal groups to resolve reports and workflows.
• Maintain SLAs for inboxes, outages, usage issues to support sales, revenue, billing, settlements, and forecast.
• Set appropriate expectations to stakeholders.

What You Can Expect

The Transaction Analyst position requires high performance in a fast paced, open environment. This team supports tight deadlines which directly impact profit and loss measures for the organization. Our corporate enrollment guarantee protects risk averse customers in their transition to and from other suppliers, and we play a significant role in that experience, which can influence opportunity for future business.

• Gather/Organize/Analyze transaction related data using customer relationship management (CRM) system and various reporting systems
• Manage registration of customer accounts through EDI enrollment transactions
• Manage end of term requirements for customer accounts through EDI drop transactions
• Resolve all transaction issues using all available tools such as Share Point, Oracle, Excel, Access, PowerBI, Teams, etc. and work with others to push these issues to closure
• Reconcile customer status and account information between systems
• Handle urgent after-hours requests related to PMVI's and RNP's
• Track issues using CRM (customer relationship management) system and external systems outsourced by vendors and utilities per market requirements. MarkeTrak, Adminitrak, Right Now, etc.
• Work as liaison with internal groups to resolve daily, weekly, monthly quarterly transaction issue reports and workflows
• Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for inboxes, critical outage and usage issues to support sales, revenue, billing, settlements and forecast
• Set appropriate expectations to stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of two (2) years work related experience in processing of Utility Market Transactions in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, and/or ISO-NE
• Familiarity with EDI transactions and processes
• Experience in exception handling related to enrollment, drop, and change rejections
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of urgency and accuracy
• Self-starter and self-moderator
• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
