Job summary

JLL is seeking an entry level transactional support analyst to begin a career in commercial real estate. This role supports account transaction management teams or brokerage pursuits, with focus on foundational transaction management, financial analysis and data coordination under supervision.

The ideal candidate will develop skills in Excel-based analysis, prepare materials, review real estate documents, and collaborate with senior team members.

Qualifications

• Entry level (0-3 years) in commercial real estate.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for existing assignments and provide operational support for transaction reporting, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Utilize sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models to run ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparations of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into client deliverables and valuation models.
• Read and review real estate documents and prepare abstract reports.
• Point of contact for tracking, management, reporting.
• Review and analyze client’s portfolio data, legal documents as part of due diligence.
• Interact with clients on team calls or with other support staff; collaborate with senior team members.

What this job involves

This is an entry level position supporting either dedicated account transaction management teams or brokerage (leasing) pursuits, as well as strategy, depending on assignment. It focuses on building foundational transaction management, financial analysis and brokerage support skills, providing critical operational support, data management and coordination under close supervision with structured learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will execute on the below job functions with a high level of quality and accuracy.

• Prepare materials for existing assignments and provide operational support for transaction reporting, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Utilize sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models to run ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparations of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.

• Read and review real estate documents (i.e. leases, operating expense statements, environmental and engineering reports, appraisals, etc.) and prepare abstract reports.

• Interact with clients on team calls or with other support staff; collaborate closely with senior team members on assigned tasks.

An ideal candidate should have the following desired experience and technical skills

Required

• Entry level (0-3 years) in commercial real estate
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software

75,000.00 – 75,000.00 USD per year
