CohnReznick in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Associate for Transaction Advisory Services. You will support buy-side and sell-side due diligence, analyze financial statements, and identify earnings stability across manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, tech, and healthcare sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint, CPA preferred, and 2+ years in audit or transaction advisory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, and M&A.
• 2+ years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience.
• Willingness to travel to clients and work extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic buyers.
• Analyze historical financials and operating trends to identify sustainable earnings across industries.
• Coordinate with team and management on client expectations, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Write and present engagement reports and deliverables to client management.

This position will support our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group. This team conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. Your Role

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, high-technology, and healthcare
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management

Your Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions
• 2+ plus years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience within various industries
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients as required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment
• Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure the deliverables are met on time

In California, the salary range for an Advisory Senior Associate is $90,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
