Job summary

CohnReznick in New York is seeking a Manager to join our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group. You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic buyers, and coordinate with clients and team members across engagements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint, CPA or certifications, and deep knowledge of US GAAP/GAAS/SEC, with 5+ years in audit or transactions.

Qualifications

• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers.
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for a variety of industries.
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines.
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
• Travel to client sites as required.

This position will support our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group. This team conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. Your Role

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management

Your Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions
• 5+ plus years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience within various industries
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients as required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment
• Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure the deliverables are met on time

In New York, the salary range for a Manager is $110,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
