Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Director for its Transaction Services group to lead engagements and build a new practice within the firm. The role requires a proven track record in transaction services at a large public accounting firm and the ability to manage client relationships and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, CPA, 12+ years of experience, and is willing to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferred
CPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment
Ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations
Previous experience supervising and training staff
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required
Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

Directors within Transaction Services will have major engagement management responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm.
Other responsibilities include researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services.
