Vylor is offering a 3-month internship at our Growth Chamber Facility in Johnston, Iowa, where you will join a team supporting soybean and wheat population development and trait integration for plant breeding and trait development. Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in agronomy, horticulture, or related plant sciences.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Must relocate to Johnston, Iowa for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day growth chamber tasks: planting, pollinating, DNA sampling, pest and disease scouting, harvesting, threshing, and general plant care.
• Responsible for collection of high-quality data.
• Assist Corteva Vylor located at the research facility.
• Manage your own research project with a verbal report to the larger intern group.
• Gain experience applicable to full-time positions or graduate study in plant sciences.
