This position will report to the Director of Workforce Development (WFD) providing support to all training activities. This position will work directly with WFD leadership to organize, track, and monitor all trainings agency wide. This position will provide support to all training activities by overseeing participant registration, organizing meeting locations for capacity, ensuring training materials are printed/ delivered, ensuring technology is in working order, and answering all inquires via phone/ emails. At times, this position will need work independently as they will be charged with making contact with other state agency staff to troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Training: (75%)
Office Operations: (25%)
Associate's Degree and two (2) years of experience program administration or project management in areas related to the purpose of the position. Any combination of education and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Must possess a current and valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and conditional pending results.
Work is usually performed in an office setting, with extensive exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), personal computer, tablet, printer, calculator, cellphone, copy machine, scanner, keyboard, and telephone usage. Occasional travel, working extra hours, working on weekends and holidays.
