Job summary

Adelphi Staffing is seeking a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Richland, WA. Inpatient pediatric and trauma cases at a Level III Pediatric Trauma Center will be managed.

The consultant will cover January 2027, two weeks per month, with 7–14 shifts. Shifts run 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, on a schedule that may alternate. Active PA license/IMLC, DEA, and board certification are required; Epic EMR used; travel and malpractice covered.

Qualifications

• Active PA license or IMLC credential.
• Board certification and DEA registration.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Trauma surgery experience with pediatric focus preferred.
• Able to cover 7–14 shifts per month, including day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient trauma care for pediatric and other patients as part of the trauma team.
• Perform pediatric surgical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical team and support staff to manage cases.
• Adhere to hospital privileges, protocols, and infection control standards.
