Job summary

Dicastal North America seeks a Training Development & Talent Specialist to maximize employee performance through integrated systems and strategic plans. This role collaborates with management to design development programs, implement LMS solutions, and measure outcomes across departments.

The ideal candidate has an HR-related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering structured training and development initiatives aligned

Qualifications

  • Associates in HR / related degree (or 5 years of comparable work experience) preferred
  • Interacting with all levels of employees
  • Working knowledge of a training and development tracking system
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office products
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan your own work activities and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Help build and support the organizational culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Implement LMS and layered training programs with a custom user experience
  • Design and deploy structured development plans and measure results with management
  • Manage employee development via a needs-based training plan and skills matrix
  • Devise new methods of training delivery to improve user experience
  • Deliver in-person training to employees across all shifts
  • Support HR/EHS in planning and execution of engagement and safety programs
  • Review and track the Department Training Matrix
  • 30 Day New Hire training form tracking and filing
  • Track training hours
  • Department specific Phase trainings

Job description

The Training Development & Talent Specialist utilizes an array of systems, processes, and tools to maximize the development of employee performance in accordance with key performance indicators, critical objectives and strategic plans for the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help build and support the organizational culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Implement LMS and layered training programs which provide custom user experience
  • Work with management and leadership teams to design and deploy structured organizational development plans, individual development plans and objectives, and measure the results of those initiatives
  • Manage employee development through utilization of a custom needs-based training plan and employee skills matrix (based on safety, industry, regulatory, compliance and customer requests/requirements)
  • Continuously devise new and improved methods of training delivery and communication in order to improve the user experience
  • Deliver in-person training to employees on all hours and shifts
  • Support HR/EHS teams in design, preparation, planning and execution of internal employee engagement, relations and safety programs
  • Review and tracking of Department Training Matrix
  • 30 Day New Hire training form tracking and filing
  • Track training hours
  • Department specific Phase trainings
