Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Online Skills Evaluation certification required.
• NFPA 470 Online Awareness and Operations required.
• Texas Railroad Commission certifications for DOT Cylinder Filler and for Service/Installation.
• NFPA 1081 Exterior w/ ProBoard certification.
• NFPA 1081 Interior w/ ProBoard certification.
• Equivalency: undergraduate degree with no prior experience.

**Training Support Technician I – Industrial Fire****$20.59 per hour****1 Full-Time Position****College Station, Texas****The Role at a Glance** The Training Support Technician I assists the Industrial Program and other emergency service training programs at the TEEX Brayton Fire Training Field. Key responsibilities include direct student interaction, preventive maintenance, and repairs ranging from minor to major on training props within the assigned area. The role also serves as a safety evaluator during live fire training, recognizes health risks, utilizes appropriate PPE, and conducts risk analysis.
