Work Environment & Hours

BWC’s core hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with flexible start/end times based on operational needs. Most positions are on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across Ohio. Flex-time schedules are available with supervisor approval.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, develop, and monitor all training activities of the Computer Training and Education unit.
  • Supervise employees assessing and analyzing training and performance needs, planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating instructional programs.
  • Assign and prioritize projects, monitor progress, and ensure standards are met.
  • Coordinate and develop training programs in collaboration with BWC customers related to computer education and technology.
Qualifications

Must demonstrate:

  • 24 months experience in preparing & delivering instructional programs for adults, including performance needs assessments.
  • OR completion of undergraduate coursework in instructional design, adult learning, education, instructional technology, or related fields.
  • Or equivalent qualifications.
Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of supervisory principles, management science, BWC policies, psychology of learning, public speaking, instructional design, civil service laws, desktop publishing, visual design; skills in PC use, MS Office, audiovisual equipment, Learning Management Systems, eLearning tools; ability to write instructions, analyze data, manage projects, facilitate groups, and develop performance objectives.
