BWC’s core hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with start/end times varying by operational needs. Most positions are on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices. Flex-time schedules are available, allowing start times from 7:00am to 8:30am with supervisor approval.
What You’ll Be Doing:
To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
24 months of experience preparing and delivering informational and instructional programs for adults, including performance needs assessments, or completion of an undergraduate program in instructional design, adult learning, education, instructional technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications.
Job Skills: Training
Major Worker Characteristics:
Knowledge of supervisory principles, management science, BWC policies, psychology of learning, public speaking, employee training, instructional design, civil service laws, project management, desktop publishing, visual design principles.
Skills in PC use, MS Office, office and audiovisual equipment, Learning Management Systems, eLearning authoring tools like Captivate and Articulate, critical thinking.
Abilities to handle variables, write instructions, analyze data, communicate concepts, foster a friendly environment, maintain records, interview applicants, manage projects and teams, develop training objectives, select instructional methods, facilitate groups, and provide feedback.
This position is overtime exempt.
