Job summary

Flex is seeking a Training Supervisor in Milpitas, CA to deliver and evaluate operator and technician training across manufacturing processes. You will manage training programs, certify personnel, and partner with operations to improve curriculum.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in training and supervision, and strong communication. Shift: Monday– Friday 2:30PM - 11PM or 3PM-11:30PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• 3+ years of training experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 3+ years of supervisor experience managing teams.
• Experience delivering formal training and evaluating learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned groups.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and ensures associates have necessary skills.
• Maintains relationships with management liaisons to feedback into curriculum.
• Conducts classroom and On-the-Job Training for operators and technicians.
• Ensures operators are trained and certified as required by process needs.
• Monitors certification and re-certification activities.
• Maintains training system and standard compliance.
• Prepares training packages for projects as needed.
• Tracks training records, licenses, certificates, renewals, and safety files.

If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

The Training Supervisor will be based in Milpitas, CA, reporting to the Operations Training Manager.

Shift

Monday- Friday 2:30PM - 11PM or 3PM-11:30PM

What a typical day looks like

• Delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned client groups
• Evaluates training to ensure effectiveness and that associates have the necessary skills to perform job duties.
• Maintains business relationships with management liaisons to ensure feedback on process and results of the training are incorporated into the ongoing curriculum.
• Conducts classroom and On-the-Job Training for operators and technicians when the need arises.
• Ensure all operators are trained and certified based on process requirement in a timely manner.
• Monitors and follows-up certification and re-certification activities.
• Ensures training system and standard compliance at all time.
• Participates and performs process/system related training.
• Prepares training packages as and when required by the respective projects.
• Tracks and reports information by reviewing employee training records for current licenses, certificates, and renewals, maintaining records of mandatory training, maintaining up to date training files on all safety sensitive personnel, checking all files for up to date medical, and advising employees as needed for training purposes.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of training experience
• 3+ years of supervisor experience
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
