Seeking an experienced Training Specialist (Level 2) to design, develop, and deliver high-impact technical training programs and curriculum for defense and intelligence personnel in Annapolis Junction, MD.
In this role, you will draft and finalize comprehensive training documentation, deliver classroom and web-based instruction to large audiences, and mentor junior training specialists. You will analyze complex technical systems—including RF theory, SIGINT systems, and wireless communications to build operational scenarios, practical hands‑on exercises, student guides, and formal assessments that convey critical mission concepts to military and agency stakeholders.
Active TS/SCI with a current Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline plus at least 9 years of relevant technical/engineering experience, OR 13 years of documented technical training and engineering experience in lieu of a degree (4 additional years substituting for the degree).
Proven experience developing instructional courses, assessments, and visual aids for complex hardware and software systems.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory, radio wave propagation characteristics, antennas, radio equipment, and basic electronics/SIGINT systems.
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on or analytical experience with commercial and tactical wireless communication protocols (e.g., GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, Wi‑Fi).
