Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Fort Meade, Maryland, is seeking a training-focused professional to draft and finalize training documentation, provide classroom support, and present training materials to large audiences on a regular basis.

You will guide junior contractor personnel involved with systems and equipment training, analyze training problems to identify needs, and design, develop and conduct training while ensuring compliance with Government policy.

Qualifications

• Nine years of electrical engineering or computer science experience.
• At least three years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory, radio wave propagation and antennas.
• Three+ years of wireless tech experience (GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, WiFi).
• Bachelor’s degree as listed or four years training/experience equivalent.

RM Qualifications

A minimum of nine (9) years of electrical engineering or computer science experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of basic electronics, SIGINT systems, and computer systems.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory, radio wave propagation and characteristics, radio equipment and antennas.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience with wireless communication technologies such as: GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, and WiFi.

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or similar degree or equivalent (four years) documented combination of training and experience.

Salary Range: $128k-$157k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
