Point Breeze Credit Union is seeking a full-time Training Specialist to support learning initiatives across departments. You will deliver New Hire, New Accounts, Loan, and related trainings, while developing curricula and maintaining training materials.

This role reports to the Training & Development Manager and requires collaboration with SMEs and department leaders. At least a bachelor's degree and 3+ years in training facilitation or coaching are expected.

As employees of Point Breeze Credit Union we follow the Rules of the Road: Deliver Quality and Value, Focus Our Efforts, Participate and Be Candid, Take Responsibility, and Be Kind.**Reporting to our Training & Development Manager, the Training Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of learning strategies that support the Credit Union’s goals. Ensure that the essential functions of newly hired and existing personnel are performed in accordance with established credit union policies, procedures, and regulations. Support the Training & Development Manager and work with department managers to analyze, develop, and implement necessary training programs for individual departments.**In this role, the Training Specialist will:*** Assume responsibility for ensuring the efficient performance of staff through providing effective training and support functions for all training courses; including but not limited to New Hire Training, New Accounts Training, Loan Training, and Relationship Management Trainings. Prepare and deliver New Hire employee training observations, as applicable.* Create, prepare, update, and maintain all training manuals, support materials, and training aids.* Work with department managers in establishing new training programs and agenda items for training courses, workshops, and the introduction of new products and services. Create new in-person, virtual, and online training courses / curriculums to be in line with strategic goals / initiatives.* Collaborate with department managers to further develop training, identify training gaps, and create and implement plans as needed.* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Training team to develop new training curriculums, plans, and content.* Conduct New Hire, New Account, Loan, Introduction to Loans, IRA, Business Account, Wire Transfer, and other training sessions, as needed.* Monitor individual employee progress through evaluating performance, administering tests, and providing follow-up training as needed.* Assist with maintaining various training and educational records; prepare related reports, and communicate emerging concerns to the Training & Development Manager.* Assist in recommending seminars and other educational opportunities for staff, enrollment of courses, and the maintenance of employee education records.* Assist as an administrator of the credit union’s Learning Management Software (LMS) programs including adding / removing employees, creating assignments and monitoring completion of assignments.* Assist with the research, implementation, and delivery of self-study programs as well as creating new self-enrollment curriculums, developing and creating training classes using the credit union’s LMS.* Work with department managers on project teams for new product and service implementations; as well as other misc. projects and strategic items.* Assist IT with testing applications, processes, and communications of updates to software.* Assist in maintaining / ordering Training Supplies as needed.* Assist with credit union-wide and staff-specific communications.* Create and maintain electronic system-related documents for all departments of the credit union using appropriate software. Including but not limited to the credit union’s intranet.* Maintain evaluation forms and follow-up for both internal and external training sessions.* Assist with the coordination of Group Morning Meetings and / or training sessions to include the preparation, operation of the video teleconferencing equipment, preparing the employee newsletter and communication to management regarding awards and certificates. Including working with outside vendors to provide ancillary product training.After successfully completing introductory six months fully onsite, this position is eligible to participate in our hybrid work schedule (up to two days per week remote) at the discretion of the Training & Development Manager.This position is in our non exempt paygrade 10 ($28.58 - $37.50 per hour, based on experience).## Qualifications**To be successful in this role, candidates will have:*** Bachelor's Degree* Minimum 3 years of public speaking, training facilitation, and / or coaching experience.* 3-5 years experience in curriculum development, design, and implementation.* Financial Institution training experience, preferred.* One to two years experience working in branch banking role(s), preferred.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* PC Proficient, excellent technological skills, preferred.* Must demonstrate high learning agility and ability to adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and information.
