POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Training Specialist supports Montana’s AmeriCorps programs and the Commission on Community Service by assessing program training needs, coordinating learning and development opportunities, and strengthening capacity across the state’s national service network. This role develops and refreshes an annual training plan, manages training delivery through in person and virtual formats, and connects grantees with a statewide and national network of technical assistance providers. The position also advances an ethic of volunteerism and service by representing the Governor’s Office of Community Service (GOCS) through outreach, presentations, and collaboration with partner organizations.
