Job summary

The City of New York Department of Correction is seeking a Staff Analyst to support the Professional Development Unit. The role focuses on data entry, training resource analysis, and generating compliance reports for oversight agencies.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or Juris Doctor or related advanced degree.
  • Alternative pathways include bachelor's/associate/high school with required experience.
  • Equivalent combinations with 30 credits per year may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry using Microsoft Office Suite Tools.
  • Compile data to strategically allocate training resources.
  • Report data to oversight agencies for compliance.
  • Generate reports to manage training completions.
  • Maintain relations with stakeholders to disseminate information.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Professional Development Unit.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Perform general office functions as assigned.
