Job summary

Foster Farms in California is seeking a Training Coordinator to onboard and develop hourly personnel in processing and packaging lines. You will demonstrate tasks, manage orientation with the Training staff, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and good manufacturing practices.

You will record and evaluate new hire and tenured team members’ proficiency, adjust training approaches, coach staff professionally, coordinate staffing with line supervisors, and conduct plant tours for applicants.

Qualifications

• Train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.
• Understand staffing requirements for lines and product runs.
• Ability to hang live chickens.
• Lift at least 45 lbs during duty.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Proven excellent work and attendance record.
• Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Train hourly personnel on tasks and safety practices.
• Assist in orientation with Training staff.
• Record, track, and evaluate new hire and tenured team performance.
• Take initiative and adjust training approaches as needed.
