The ideal candidate combines strong business development, project coordination, customer service, and organizational skills. This person must be proactive in identifying training opportunities, following up on customer needs, and converting opportunities into scheduled and completed training engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive training bookings and revenue by proactively engaging customers, account managers, and technical teams.
  • Identify training needs within existing customer accounts and recommend appropriate courses, learning paths, and delivery formats.
  • Prepare accurate training quotations, proposals, and statements of work.
  • Determine pricing based on course length, instructor requirements, number of attendees, delivery method, travel expenses, facilities, and required materials.
  • Maintain training price lists, standard course descriptions, quoting templates, and service packages.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to include training in new software purchases, implementations, and customer success plans.
  • Schedule public, private, virtual, onsite, and customized training courses.
  • Coordinate instructor availability and assign qualified technical resources to each course.
  • Manage all training logistics, including facilities, classrooms, virtual meeting platforms, equipment, software access, licenses, course materials, catering, and travel.
  • Confirm customer attendance, prerequisites, schedules, locations, and technical requirements before each course.
  • Provide instructors and customers with complete training details and expectations in advance.
  • Track registrations, attendance, cancellations, rescheduling, and course completion.
  • Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and other commercial requirements are completed before training begins.
  • Coordinate with accounting and operations teams to support invoicing, revenue recognition, instructor costs, and expense tracking.
  • Monitor training profitability, instructor utilization, booking levels, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance.
  • Maintain the master training calendar and communicate upcoming courses to internal teams and customers.
  • Promote upcoming classes through customer outreach, email campaigns, account reviews, events, and coordination with marketing.
  • Collect customer feedback and use it to improve course content, delivery, scheduling, and the overall training experience.
  • Maintain training records, completion certificates, evaluations, and other required documentation.
  • Develop repeatable processes that allow the training business to scale efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with Siemens training and technical teams to remain current on available courses, certifications, and product updates.
  • Provide regular forecasts and reports on pipeline, bookings, revenue, utilization, cancellations, and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in training coordination, business development, customer service, sales operations, event planning, or project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules, customers, instructors, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience preparing quotations, proposals, budgets, or statements of work.
  • Strong commercial judgment and understanding of pricing, costs, margins, and profitability.
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and customer communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on commitments, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn CRM, scheduling, quoting, and training-management systems.
