Job summary

LivaNova PLC is seeking a Training Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve the manufacturing training and workforce development system for a high-complexity, low-volume medical device operation.

You will lead the development of training strategies, content, and qualification programs to ensure compliance with quality systems while supporting operational excellence and employee development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years developing training systems, competency programs, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical device, pharma, biotech, aerospace).
  • Experience creating and managing skills matrices, qualification systems, and onboarding programs.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the site's manufacturing training and development strategy aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-wide skills matrices and proficiency standards across manufacturing.
  • Design and develop training materials including curricula, presentations, e-learning modules, and assessments.
  • Establish and maintain standardized qualification processes for manufacturing processes, equipment, and operations.
