Job summary

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) in Fort George G. Meade, MD seeks a Training Instructor to lead course sessions, ensure on-time start and finish, and manage student records within the DINFOS framework. You will support curriculum delivery, mentor students, and assist senior staff in administering training programs.

The role requires 6+ years in U.S. military or government public affairs or communications, plus familiarity with eLearning platforms and working with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of U.S. military or government public affairs or communications experience
• Working knowledge of all aspects of public affairs and visual information
• Experience advising senior military or C-suite executive-level leadership

Responsibilities

• Assist team leads with ensuring the class Training Day begins and ends on time
• Ensure class attendance is taken at beginning of class and instructors report unexcused absences to the Team Lead and Academic Directors immediately
• Adhere to all classroom instruction methods in accordance with course Training Programs of Instruction (TPI)
• Manage student records, student counseling and additional training, student probation and action packages, absences, and any supporting documents within the DINFOS Management System (DMS)
• Adhere to DINFOS policies regarding Instructor certification and qualification programs
• Coach, grade, and provide mentoring and feedback to students
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to curriculum development process for courses offered by DINFOS
