Job summary

Waukesha-pearce Industries Llc is seeking an experienced Service Tech to assist the service manager, supervise field teams, and work independently on engine and generator packages. You will handle engine electric controls and governing systems, perform rapairs and revamps, and stay updated on model changes.

The role requires 4 years' experience, a GED or high school diploma, and a Class A service tech qualification with potential WED VHP and VGF certifications preferred.

Job description

Scope of Work:Repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines.Primary Job Responsibilities:Assist the service manager with supervisory duties.Must be able to work alone on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages and be professional on their assignments.Understands engine electric controls.Understands engine governing systems including electronic controls.Can perform all work associated with gas compressor revamp.Stay informed of the latest changes in the various models of equipment.Ensure that all jobs are completed and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manner.Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions.Perform other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications:Must have 4 year(s) previous experience.Must have G.E.D. High School Diploma, prefer applied certification (s) job description.Must meet all of the qualifications of a Service Tech Class A.Must have advance troubleshooting skillsCertification in WED VHP technology and VGF technology preferred.Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company.Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standard if driving company vehicle.
