The Training & Legal Fund seeks a full-time Coordinator/Green Janitor Specialist to support the Fund’s roll-out in Cleveland and coordinate the Green Janitor Education Program (GJEP) in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. The role is based in Chicago and requires regular travel to Cleveland, typically once per month.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor preferred.
• Experience in startup environment or project initiation.
• At least two years in program coordination, training administration, or related fields.
• Strong organization, initiative, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate GJEP classes, trainings, graduations, and opportunities across Chicago and suburbs.
• Serve as primary contact for instructors and assist members with eligibility, enrollment, schedules, attendance, and certificates.
• Support instructors to deliver accessible, engaging training and address scheduling or curriculum issues.
• Promote GJEP and Fund services to maintain relationships with employers, property managers, contractors, vendors, and partners.
• Maintain Chicago-based operations and travel to Cleveland monthly for training and legal services support.
• Maintain program, participant, and case-management records; prepare materials and reports; monitor goals and timelines.
• Provide administrative support to Fund staff and safeguard sensitive information.
