Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Kentucky is seeking a Training & Facility Supervisor to lead training programs and ensure safe facility operations. You will coordinate onboarding, maintain training records, certify staff on material handling equipment, and collaborate with site leadership to support safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, and a focus on continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years warehousing/logistics experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have 6 months of training experience and 1 year of material handling equipment experience.
• Knowledge of facilities, systems maintenance, and preventive maintenance is preferred.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate orientation of new team members and refresher training on site and corporate policies, procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Facilitate shift training related to safety, operations, quality, standards, procedural updates, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain on-the-job training programs to support site performance, compliance, and employee development.
• Train, certify, and recertify team members on material handling equipment (MHE) and maintain certification records.
• Monitor training KPIs and maintain training databases, files, certifications, and development records.
