Leadership & Oversight
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all training operations across NJ and PA.
- Supervise training staff in both states, ensuring consistent delivery, documentation, and compliance.
- Establish a unified training vision aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with state regulatory bodies during audits, inspections, and reviews.
Training Program Development
- Develop and implement a formal, structured new-hire training program for Residential Leaders (RLs), Associate Directors (ADs), and Regional Directors (RDs).
- Design and oversee ongoing refresher and skill-building courses, delivered in homes or community centers to ensure practical, real-world application.
- Audit and refresh all existing training materials, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment across both states.
- Create leadership and communication training for management and emerging leaders.
- Research industry best practices and integrate them into curriculum and delivery methods.
Curriculum & Compliance
- Ensure all training content meets state licensing, regulatory, and certification standards.
- Oversee Med-Practicums, CPR/First Aid training, and other mandated competencies.
- Maintain accurate training documentation, certification records, and compliance reports.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): build courses, track progress, and generate reports.
Operational Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a unified training calendar for both states.
- Coordinate specialized sessions with Subject Matter Experts.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and its impact on performance and KPIs.
- Support managers in developing continuous learning strategies.
- Deliver training across multiple formats, including one-on-one coaching, small groups, and large seminars.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of training staff.
- Promote ethical, professional behavior and reinforce Delta's mission and values.

- Demonstrated experience supervising employees and providing effective leadership and communication skills in a management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in adult learning techniques and proficiency in effective instruction of employees. Ability to manage, develop, and support department training needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Learning Management System, company HR systems, and web delivery tools as necessary.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Meet/Suite, and other presentation systems.
- Proficient in the use of instructional design principles to develop new training courses, materials, and classroom activities that engage and motivate participants.
- Ability to use classroom management practices and facilitation skills to generate an interactive and positive learning experience.
- Ability to work effectively with people, facilitating their growth and development.

- Complete and pass mandated trainings including but not limited to CPR and First Aid. Must maintain Instructor certification in First Aid and CPR.

Qualifications:
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license in state of residence.
- Five to ten (5-10) years of training experience in Human Services or related field.
- Three to five (3-5) years of supervisory experience.
- ATD Certification preferred.
- Must maintain Instructor certification in First Aid and CPR.
