Bello Machre is seeking a Training Director to lead the organization’s training program and staff. The role focuses on delivering compliant, high-quality training aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational priorities, while driving continuous improvement in staff competency and person-centered services.

The Training Director ensures that employees receive the knowledge, skills and/or ability necessary to perform their roles effectively and provide high-quality, person-centered services and support to the individuals served by Bello Machre. The position leads training staff, establishes training priorities and requirements, monitors compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies, and evaluates training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
This is a full-time position, Exempt position, working Monday through Friday. Saturday and evening hours may be required occasionally. Hours are flexible and should be scheduled to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position and meet with supervisor’s approval.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Human Services, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in training or a related field, including experience developing and administering training programs and providing supervision or oversight to training staff, is required. Experience in a human services, healthcare, or similarly regulated environment is preferred.
The employee must have and maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license. They may not have more than three points on their license at any time and may not have any alcohol and/or drug related citations on their license.
