Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking an Learning & Development Instructor to implement initial and ongoing development for staff, ensuring understanding of job and corporate requirements and driving efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities include training new hires, enforcing policies, and partnering with Operations to achieve department goals while maintaining a coaching, supportive mindset toward staff development.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Lead, Assistant Supervisor or Leadership experience.
• 2-3 years of Technician Experience on machines used within or outside of Manufacturing, with a proven record of how to ensure equipment reaches and maintains optimum output.
• 1-2 years of “training/teaching” experience or equivalent combination of education/work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact for new hires and training within the department.
• Enforce departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
• Deliver trainings that improve department efficiencies and profitability.
• Collaborate with Operations to implement L&D policies and programs to meet goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback to L&D and Supervisors on trainee progress.
• Foster a coach/mentor mindset with new hires and support department success.
• Work with counter associates to achieve department and corporate goals.
