Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Learning & Development professional to lead new hire training on second shift (4:00 PM–1:00 AM) in McKinney, TX. You will implement initial and ongoing development, drive efficiency, and ensure understanding of corporate requirements.

Responsibilities include mentoring, policy enforcement, and coordinating with Operations to meet departmental goals. Prior experience in training and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years of Lead/Assistant Supervisor or Leadership experience.
• 1-2 years of training/teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for inner-departmental new hires and new hire training.
• Enforce departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
• Trainings and practices resulting in measurable improvements to efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with Operations to enforce Learning & Development policies and programs.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Learning & Development and Supervisors on new staff progress.
• Establish a Coach/Mentor mentality with new hires and maintain a positive attitude.
• Commit to the success of new hires and the department.
• Coordinate with counter associates to achieve goals.
