Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Training/Data Entry Specialist in Coronado, CA to support the Curriculum Systems Division. The role involves data entry for curriculum materials across NAVEDTRA standards, including TPPs, TCCDs, and trainee guides, plus coordination with instructional staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education (Bachelor preferred) and experience with curriculum development software such as AIM/CPM, and Microsoft Office. Navy instructor experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Experience with computer systems and software data entry and curriculum development.
• Experience using curriculum development software or program software (Microsoft Office, AIM, CPM).
• Prior Navy Instructor experience is desirable.
• Prior Navy Learning and Development experience is desirable.
• Military Instructor roles (GS-1712/1750/LSO/NEC 805A/9502) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees software program and LMS data entry for COMNAVSPECWARCEN curriculum.
• Maintains Training Project Plans, TCCD, Lesson Plans/Guides, and related materials.
• Entries testing program data for NAVEDTRA series courses.
• Advises instructional staff on software readiness for curriculum design and delivery.
• Prepares documentation for annual course reviews and ACE evaluations.
• Acts as project manager for curriculum data entry for new development and revisions.
• Ensures compliance with curriculum data entry procedures.

Minimum Qualifications Summary

Certification & Education

• High school education required
• Bachelor degree preferred

Experience Required

• Required: Education or experience that included or was supplemented by computer system and software data entry and curriculum development.
• Required: Experience using curriculum development software or program software, i.e. Microsoft soft skills, Authoring Instructional Material (AIM), Content Planning Module (CPM)
• Desired: Prior experience as a Navy Instructor
• Desired: Prior experience with Navy Learning and Development
• Desired: Prior Training Specialist (GS-1712), Instructional Systems Specialist (ISS) (GS-1750), Learning Standards Officer (LSO), or Military Instructor (Navy Enlisted Classification NEC: 805A/9502)

Job Objective

Serves as a Training Specialist in the Curriculum Systems Division (CSD) at Commander Naval Special Warfare Center (COMNAVSPECWARCEN), Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, CA.

Responsibilities

• Oversees software program and learning management system data entry of curriculum for COMNAVSPECWARCEN courses to include Training Project Plans (TPP), Training Course Control Documents (TCCD), Lesson Plans/Trainee Guides, Instructional Media, Testing Plans, Pilot Reports, and Letters for Approval/Promulgation in accordance with Navy Education and Training (NAVEDTRA) 130 Series.
• Responsible data entry of testing program for COMNAVSPECWARCEN courses and curriculum in accordance with Navy Education and Training (NAVEDTRA) 132 Series.
• Inputs curriculum of new training programs or the major revision of existing curriculum.
• Advises the instructional staff on software program/administrative readiness for curriculum design, development, and delivery.
• Reviews and prepares documentation in preparation for annual formal course reviews, training requirement reviews, and ACE (American Council on Education) evaluations.
• Acts as project manager for curriculum data entry of new development and curriculum revisions.
• Ensures curriculum data entry procedural compliance.
