Job summary

Orchard Village is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator in Illinois. The role plans, coordinates, develops, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive competency-based training program for agency staff, including DHS-approved training for DSPs and QIDPs.

The coordinator maintains records, leads new employee orientation, and supports quality improvement initiatives within multiple departments. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in education or social services, at least two years in the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education or social services required.
Two years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities preferred (direct work with persons with developmental disabilities).
State of Illinois QIDP certification required; CPI/First Aid/CPR training listed.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive training program.
Provide DHS-approved training for Direct Support Professionals and QIDPs.
Maintain training records and manage Therap's Training Management System (TMS).
Lead new employee orientation and coordinate external trainers and online training opportunities.
Support quality improvement and assist with data collection and reporting.
