Job summary

Qualifications

• There is no educational substitution for this GS-09 Law Enforcement Specialist.
• Only education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment.
• If using foreign education, you must submit a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript for credit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of the Police Service training program per VA Handbook 0730 and Federal guidelines.
• Maintain training records and ensure required training is completed within set timeframes.
• Provide advisement on training accomplishments, deficiencies, and potential problems.
