Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Training Coordinator in Santa Ana, CA (1st shift) to lead the plant's training programs, track compliance with ISO and internal procedures, and support the Eaton Values and Philosophy. You will report to the Operational Excellence Manager and help develop and administer training across EHS, quality, operations and HR.

• Live within 50 miles of the location.

• Develop digital/online tracking of training requirements (LMS & Eaton University).
• Supports in the development of training and knowledge materials via books, videos, or any other mechanism for delivering information.
• Support new hire training, PIV hands on training, and crane/hoist hands on training, which includes maintaining all training documents, training new hires, and any re-training that may be required. Ensure our program adheres to Eaton’s MESH program.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure training materials are effective and relevant.
• Maintain group’s cross-training matrix(ces)
• Provide training to both individuals and groups as needed.
• Complete special training projects as needed.
• Demonstrates flexibility to work shifts and overtime to provide training support across all shifts in the group you support.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Training Coordinator. 1st Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment

The hours for this role are 7am - 3:30pm

The hourly rate for this position is $35.20 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview: The training coordinator assists in the leadership, administration and coordination of the plant’s training and employee resource programs and processes to assure the organization develops and realizes the full potential of the workforce in support of the business strategic plans and the pursuit of business excellence. This position will report directly to the Operational Excellence Manager.

In this position you will:

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead role or trainer capacity
• Must be proficient and have experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Live within 50 miles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college level courses preferred.
• Some knowledge with Power automate (PowerBI and related systems)
• Previous experience in training.
• Experience using augmented reality, or other software programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
