Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead the Biobank training program, develop curricula, perform on‑the‑job training, and track trainee performance.

The role positions you as SME for operations, ensuring timely, accurate training aligned with SOP standards and global processes. You will implement training policies, document procedures, and contribute to standardized practices while supporting CAPA investigations and ensuring quality execution.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience demonstrating teamwork, self‑motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism.
  • Experience with on the job and/or classroom training.
  • Life Sciences experience preferred.
  • GMP/GTP/CLIA experience preferred.
  • Ability to read/understand/interpret basic correspondence, instructions, rules, procedures in English Language.

How You’ll Add Value:

The Training Coordinator assumes primary responsibility and oversight for the training program for the Biobank. This position provides curriculum creation, on-the-job training, and personnel tracking of training for Biobank staff. The expectation of the position infers one as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Operation functions.

  • Develop appropriate best practices resulting in standardized and streamlined global processes and efficient use of resources
  • Ability to perform investigations within CAPA system requirements
  • Ability to execute on CAPAs
What You Will Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience demonstrating teamwork, self‑motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism
  • Experience with on the job and/or classroom training
  • Life Sciences experience preferred
  • GMP/GTP/CLIA experience preferred
  • Ability to read/understand/interpret basic correspondence, instructions, rules, procedures in English Language
  • Ability to make decisions and judgements based on reasoning
  • Good working relations and communications with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to perform tasks with care, is thorough and checks work for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, performing basic and intermediate functions
Physical Requirements:
  • Reaching, lifting, bending
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Extended periods of standing or sitting
  • Right- and left-hand finger dexterity
  • Ability to discern colors or use of color correction glasses
  • Ability to work with refrigerants (e.g., dry ice and LNs) using proper PPE
Your Working Conditions:
  • Employee will be working in an area with potentially infectious materials
  • Employee will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and enforce and follow Universal Precautions for bloodborne pathogens when working in an area considered to be potentially contaminated
  • Ability and willingness to work with LN2, if needed
  • 20% travel may be required

United States Base Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure.
