Job summary

GEODIS in Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead forklift, safety, and Pit B training programs for employees across shifts.

You will schedule and oversee weekly safety sessions, evaluate training effectiveness, and work with managers to ensure staff meet safety and performance goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience in training or coordinating programs is preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forklift, safety, and Pit B training programs for employees.
• Conducts scheduled training for all functions in the account for all shifts.
• Arranges and oversees weekly orientation sessions in basic safety training for new employees.
• Evaluates training effectiveness to ensure employees meet goals and achieve results.
• Makes recommendations to managers for go/no go into the account.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 3 months experience and/or training preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
