Job summary

Technimark is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead our training program. You will administer the Training Matrix, certify operators, coordinate onboarding, and drive continuous improvement in workforce competence.

This role requires 2–3 years of manufacturing and training experience, familiarity with GDP and GMP, and bilingual English/Spanish. You will collaborate with Quality and Operations to reduce training-related defects and ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of training, quality, production leadership, or workforce development experience preferred.
• Experience within injection molding medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Knowledge of GMP principles preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency in ensuring regulatory compliance and training documentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Training Program Administration
• Maintain and administer Technimark's Training Matrix.
• Ensure all employees are trained and qualified before performing assigned duties independently.
• Develop, update, and manage training requirements for production, quality, warehouse, and support functions.
• Coordinate onboarding training for all new hires.
• Schedule and conduct required training activities.

Qualification & Certification

• Conduct employee qualification and certification assessments.
• Perform on the job observations to verify training effectiveness.
• Validate operator competency before final qualification.
• Coordinate annual recertification activities.
• Suspend qualifications when competency requirements are not maintained.
• Ensure retraining is completed when process changes occur.

Training Effectiveness

• Conduct routine floor audits to verify adherence to trained processes.
• Measure training effectiveness through performance monitoring and defect analysis.
• Identify skill gaps and develop corrective action plans.
• Work with Quality and Operations to reduce training related defects and nonconformances.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain complete and accurate training records.
• Ensure training documentation meets regulatory and customer requirements.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure training records are audit ready at all times.
• Maintain revision control of training materials.

Annual Skills Assessment Program

• Develop annual operator evaluations.
• Administer written examinations and practical assessments.
• Conduct direct observation evaluations.
• Document results and identify development opportunities.
• Coordinate remediation and retraining activities when necessary.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop standardized training materials, visual work instructions, videos, and qualification guides.
• Participate in root cause investigations involving operator issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce competency.
• Establish training KPIs and communicate performance metrics to leadership.
