Job summary

The MGH Center for School Behavioral Health at Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator in Boston to support its growing portfolio, including iDECIDE and school-based behavioral health initiatives.

You will coordinate logistics for trainings and events, schedule sessions, prepare materials, liaise with internal and external partners, maintain records, and support grant proposals and data dissemination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of work experience, OR Master’s degree with 1-2 years' experience preferred.
  • Prior experience and/or coursework in school-based programming, community-based programming, or prevention programming preferred.
  • Experience managing a CRM or LMS, or other large databases to support partner communications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programming activity logistics, including reserving space, creating registration pages, scheduling meetings, managing Calendly, and posting events on sites.
  • Oversee virtual and in-person event preparation, such as printing materials, packing training boxes, and arranging catering and A/V needs.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance program-related activities.
  • Provide administrative and technical support during trainings and events.
  • Attend regular meetings and support grant proposals and data dissemination activities.
  • Create materials to support existing and upcoming programs.

We partner with hundreds of schools to develop and test interventions and have several ongoing research studies and implementation programming. The MGH Center for School Behavioral Health seeks a full-time Training Coordinator to support our expanding program portfolio. The Coordinator will report directly to the Project Manager(s) and will be responsible for managing logistics and administrative tasks to support the Center’s expanding portfolio of program-related activities. This portfolio includes iDECIDE, the Center’ flagship school-based behavioral health program, and emerging opportunities around restorative policy implementation in schools and design of a universal substance prevention and mental health promotion. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics of program-related activities, scheduling events and trainings, preparing materials program-related activities, conducting informal research (e.g., landscape analyses, literature reviews) to inform program development, and maintaining systems of communication with internal staff and external stakeholders (e.g., school-based staff, community-based organizations, etc.). The Coordinator will also play a key role in bolstering the Center’s portfolio of programming through supporting the planning, development, implementation, and dissemination of schools-based behavioral health prevention and early intervention programs. They will also coordinate community engagements and community events to maintain strong partnerships with schools and community-based organizations in Massachusetts. Strong candidates for this role must possess the ability to work independently, under supervision of the Project Manager(s), and must possess strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to work proactively to address challenges.
