Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Training Content Developer for a 12-month contract onsite to support manufacturing training initiatives and content management.

You will develop SOPs, work instructions, job aids, onboarding materials, presentations, and digital learning resources. Responsibilities include coordinating SME interviews, managing translation/localization, and publishing content in the LMS while ensuring accuracy and consistency across departments.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Technical Communication, Business Administration, Digital Media, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in training project coordination, technical writing, document development, instructional design support, or a related field.
• Experience supporting training or technical documentation efforts in a manufacturing, converting, packaging, or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
• Experience with video editing, screen recording, digital graphics, or content development tools preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, job aids, presentations, onboarding materials, and training documentation using approved company templates.
• Convert process observations, SME input, and draft materials into standardized training and operational content.
• Schedule and coordinate SME interviews, process observations, and photo or video capture sessions.
• Facilitate review and approval workflows across Operations, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.
• Track assigned projects, deliverables, approvals, and action items to ensure timely completion of documentation and training materials.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and documentation repositories.
• Upload, configure, organize, and publish approved training materials, assessments, and learning resources within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create and edit basic instructional videos, visual training aids, and supporting learning materials.
• Coordinate translation and localization activities for training materials and operational documentation.
• Support training and technical documentation projects by ensuring accuracy, consistency, formatting standards, and document control requirements are maintained.
• Collaborate with Organizational Development and Training personnel to support training initiatives, process improvements, and workforce development programs.

Job Summary

The Training Content Developer supports Organizational Development and Training initiatives by developing training materials, technical documentation, and learning content for manufacturing operations. This role works closely with Plant Leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and cross-functional teams to capture operational knowledge and convert it into standardized procedures, training guides, visual job aids, videos, and digital learning resources. The position also supports content management, review workflows, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration to ensure training materials are accurate, organized, and accessible.

Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Technical Communication, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong technical writing, editing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and approval workflows simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Experience developing presentations, job aids, onboarding materials, and training documentation.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional content development.
• Ability to track project status, approvals, and deliverables through completion.
• Experience with translation coordination and multilingual content support preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Vietnamese preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Frequent standing, walking, and observation activities within production areas.
• Ability to operate computers, cameras, recording equipment, and related technology.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and manufacturing processes while wearing required PPE.
