Collaborating with SMEs, Product managers, Engineering and Aftermarket teams, you ensure material accuracy, brand alignment, and accessibility while delivering interactive modules, guides, and microlearning assets for diverse delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in training content development, instructional design, or related role.
  • Travel up to 10% and flexible hours to meet business needs.

  • Develop, edit, and maintain training content including video scripts, storyboards, presentations, eLearning modules, and training videos.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, Product managers, Engineering and Aftermarket teams to gather technical information and convert it into learner‑friendly content.
  • Ensure training materials meet brand, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Adapt content for classroom, virtual, learning library, and self‑paced formats.
  • Incorporate interactivity, scenarios, and assessments to boost engagement and retention.
  • Maintain version control and content organization within LMS or CMS.

The Training Content Developer is responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining engaging, high-quality learning materials that support technical and non-technical training programs. This role transforms subject matter expertise into clear, accessible, and interactive content aligned with adult learning principles and organizational objectives. Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), Product managers, Engineering team. Aftermarket team and the training manager. The Training Content Developer ensures all materials are accurate, visually appealing, and adaptable for multiple delivery formats, including classroom, virtual, learning libraries and eLearning environments.

The ideal candidate would have proficiency in eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), experience creating blended learning materials, including instructor‑led training guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and multimedia assets, and familiarity with technical writing, graphic design principles, and adult learning theory. Additionally, they would have experience with writing scripts, knowledge based articles, planning training videos, creating storyboards, and developing microlearning library.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in training content development, instructional design, or related role.
  • Travel: up to 10%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday‑Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, edit, and maintain training content, including video scripts, storyboards, presentations, eLearning modules, Training videos, simulations, and performance support tools.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, Product managers, Engineering Teams, Aftermarket teams to gather technical information and convert it into engaging, learner‑friendly content.
  • Ensure training materials meet brand, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Adapt content for multiple delivery methods, including classroom, virtual, learning library and self‑paced learning.
  • Incorporate interactivity, scenarios, and assessments to improve learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product updates or organizational changes.
  • Support the integration of multimedia, graphics, AR/VR training options and animations to enhance instructional impact.
  • Maintain version control and content organization within LMS or content management systems.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
