Job summary

Gertens Family of Businesses is expanding and seeks an intern for our Corporate Education / Training team to assist with training coordination, course design, and analysis of training data. Responsibilities include coordinating training requests, enrolling participants, collaborating with SMEs on course content and LMS formatting, and maintaining enrollment and completion reports.

The internship runs May–August 2027, up to 40 hours/week, paid, with housing not provided; E-Verify participation

Qualifications

• Majors in Education, Business, Marketing, or Human Resources / Training and Development or related background and training.
• Creative, motivated and strong communication skills with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Training Coordination: process training requests, enroll and notify course participants, track course completions.
• Course Design and Creation: coordinate with SMEs on course overview, content, audience, and deadlines; format content for LMS.
• Training Data: enter enrollments in trackers; daily analysis of enrollment and completion reports.

Our Corporate Education / Training team is seeking an intern to perform a variety of tasks including training coordination, course design, and analysis of training data. Qualifications and Skills Needed

Gertens is looking for an individual with Education, Business, Marketing, or Human Resources / Training and Development, or related background and training. Qualified candidates are creative, motivated, and have strong communication skills along with a desire to learn and grow.

Desired majors, Class Level

Areas of study including but not limited to Education, Business, Marketing, or Human Resources / Training and Development and working towards Bachelors, Associate or Certificates are acceptable. Interns may be enrolled as sophomore through post graduate.

Responsibility

Training Coordination:

• Process training requests
• Enroll and notify course participants, follow up and track course completions

Course Design and Creation:

• Coordinate with SMEs on course overview, course content, audience and course launch/completion deadlines.
• Structure and format content to be placed on LMS utilizing company specific content, photos, and videos.
• Preview and test new courses from enrollment through completion.

Training Data:

• Enter all enrollments in Education Team Trackers
• Daily analysis of enrollment and completion reports

Individual Intern Project with presentation sharing knowledge gained and benefits of the internship experience and project results.

Scheduling Hours: Intern will work up to 40 hours per week. Monday- Friday

Internship Duration: May-August 2027

Compensation: Paid Internship. Housing accommodations are not provided.
