Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop and maintain a comprehensive staff training program in Hillsborough, NJ. You will conduct trainings and ensure staff comply with state regulations and company policy.

Responsibilities include tracking certifications, coordinating training logistics, auditing documentation, and supporting onboarding and recruitment activities as needed. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and relevant trainer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or High School diploma/GED plus three years of training experience.
• Certified Trainer: Crisis Intervention
• Medication Administration Trainer
• CPR/First Aid Certified Instructor
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update training tracking spreadsheet and records.
• Notify trainers about certifications due for renewal and secure documentation.
• Coordinate training logistics: assign trainers, manage materials, track attendance, schedule rooms.
• Audit training documentation for compliance with state and company requirements.
• May conduct in-house trainings and represent Community Options at events.
• Support Recruiting Coordinator with orientation and background checks.
• Assist onboarding during Coordinator’s absence.
• Oversee training staff performance and evaluations.
• Escalate non-compliance to supervisors for resolution.
• Maintain trainer certifications in Medication Administration, Crisis Intervention, CPR/First Aid.
